Since retiring I have work on many projects at home.
I've completed two major motorcycle trips across USA and Canada. 2019 was an adventure to Blue Ridge and Skyline Drive, to PA, New England & Nova Scotia Canada. 2020 travelled West to Colorado, Utah, and up to Portland OR.
Total motorcycle journey of 13,000 miles in two years.
I'm still trying to fill every day with activities and honey does.

We were running a tactical course during Response Force training. Lek was teamed up with George. Just as they finished crawling through the sand under the netting and as they got to the 8' wall, George realized that he had lost his sidearm. Knowing that you must finish the course with all of your equipment, they both had to retrace their steps (or crawl) until the weapon was found. It was discovered on top of the hill and they quickly headed back to the netting and made it to the wall. By now they were totally spent. And the wall was just too tall. They kept at it until they negotiated the obstacle which was no easy feat. Although everyone was laughing at their expense, deep down we were all pulling for them and wanted to help them but could not. Good knowing you Lek and thanks for all of the stories you told.

Vern in CAS, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I flipped this switch" as he looked at the CPU. We all know what happened next. Vern in CAS when the phone rang one too many times, "This is how you answer a phone" as he slung it across the counter. Hey- You owe me a phone call...

Pat,
As I have already told you, you were the best supervisor I ever had the privilege to work with. Thank you for your friendship and support. Now for the funny story: One night I heard the keys on the key pad being pounded with what could only be described as "mad fingers". As I looked into the Captain's office, there you sat pounding away at the key pad. I could tell something had you fired up. I asked how you were doing and you expressed frustration about something/someone. You asked me to read what you had typed out. I saw one big paragraph that should have been broken into several. I suggest that you take a night walk around the PA and then come back and read it before sending. You did and apparently made changes before sending. You thanked me later. Enjoy your life Pat!

Always great memories about the Bull. When he got his new Red Ford Truck, he always called it his "big red truck". Loved talking to Bull, and working with him, he is a great person, and was an asset to Southern Company. Good luck Bull, and enjoy yourself.

Welcome to every day being Saturday! The bad thing is that these “Saturday’s” go by just as fast as your weekends use to! Enjoy!
